BULLSEYE host Jim Bowen is set to take his Edinburgh Fringe show to a lucky Record reader's living room.

The comedian - famed for his "you can't beat a bit of bully" and super, smashing, great "catchphrases - is putting on a comedy chat show at the festival.

But after one lunchtime gig at the Udderbelly in Bristo Square, he will take his gags to the home of our competition winner. Jim, 70, will interview celebrity guests during his daily shows, which will also feature his darts-based gameshow.

He said: "We will pick a couple of people from the audience to team up with the chat show guests on the day to play the Bullseye element. And there will be genuine prizes.

"You can rest assured it will be super, it will be smashing and it will be great."

Jim has played the festival for the past two years and said his Record gig was just another reason to look forward to his return.

He said: "I thought Edinburgh was just for young comics and off-the-wall theatre groups but suddenly I had packed houses coming to hear a comedian with a bus pass."

His show - Look At What You Could Have Won - starts at 12.30pm from August 1 to 25.
